What is the case in Miranda? Is it same as in the individual services or is there always a direct connection?
In msn settings of miranda, there are 3 options under 'Incoming file transfers' -> Automatically obtain host/port, disable and manually specify host/port. So if I choose disable, file transfer won't take place?
I don't need file transfers at all and also don't want direct connections. Is there anything particular I should do? Or just avoid file transfers and no direct connections will be made? And when using gtalk in miranda (over jabber protocol ??), there is never a direct connection even when there is file transfer and everything goes over google servers, am I right?

"unknown contacts" is set to ignore absolutely everything, the same way it has been set for 1 year plus

the a$$holes in question are popping up in YIM specifically, i havent noticed the behavior in AIM (the only other messenger i use)

I dont understand why it is so hard to just have ignore actually... you know, ignore? Either something is being spoofed and Miranda isn't catching it, or there should be some forcible way to REALLY ignore something that is set to ignore. If I don't have a contact that I have manually added to my list, it should not keep popping up the same spam messages from them all day, every day. :(

Sometime, I want to use different skin/view/style on different places, such as home and office.
But I want to keep the only accounts info sets (account, history, and other account related info).
Also, maybe I want to archive all my settings except Account info
Or share with my skins/settings with my friend.

First part of the message is a bugfix:
The modern contact list plugin (clist_modern) does not handle the per account options combo box in a right way (Options->Contact List->Status Bar->Set options per account, with "Show expert options" check box set).

The second part is a feature (I'm just tired to replace the tabsrmm plugin with my corrected version every time miranda is updated):
I'd like to make tabsrmm show the remote client version right on the infopannel of the message window (without need to wait on a popup with this information).


Both fixes are located within the corresponding source files from the attached archive. Code modifications are marked with comments /** BEGIN New code **/, /** END New code **/, /** BEGIN Old code **/, /** END Old code **/.

i can not do any thing with the nicklist in all rooms where i m manager...
